Jackson storms to Player of the Year honors

Fort Chiswell sophomore Owen Jackson had himself a season for the record books. That basketball season was capped off on Thursday with Jackson being named the Class 1 Player of the Year. Luray head coach, Matt Huff, was picked as the Class 1 Coach of the Year. The 6-foot, 5-inch sophomore introduced himself to a state-wide audience with a championship game record of 53 points in the Class 1 finals against Luray.
