Trivette named Player of the Year

The Virginia High School League announces its 2026 Class 3 all-state girls basketball team. Abingdon senior power forward, Annsley ''A.J.'' Trivette, is the Class 3 Player of the Year. Abingdon head coach Jimmy Brown is the Class 3 Coach of the Year—2026 Class 3 All-State Girls Team. A repeat Class 3 Player of the Year and a three-time all-state first-team selection, the 6-foot, 3-inch Trivette averaged 23.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.4 blocks per game this season for the Falcons.
