Two Southwest District players named to All State second teammates

A Marion senior and Virginia High sophomore were among the girls basketball players honored as the Virginia High School League announced its 2026 All State teams. Kaiden Harris, a 10th-grader for the Lady Bearcats, was picked for the second team, as was senior Hurricane Macy Osborne. Clarke County senior combo guard/forward Alainah McKavish is the Class 2 Player of the Year, and Clarke County head coach Shadd McCaw is the Class 2 Coach of the Year.
